Data Deletion

You can delete your Garage Desk account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data.

Delete from within the app

• Open Garage Desk and go to Settings → Account.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm the request when prompted.

Deleting your account removes your profile and cascades to the shop records linked to it. Soft-deleted records are recoverable for 30 days before permanent removal.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@garagedesk.co from the address associated with your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.

What gets deleted

• Your account profile and authentication details.
• The customers, vehicles, jobs, estimates, invoices, inventory and inspection records linked to your account.

What we may retain

We may retain limited information where we are legally required to (for example, transaction records needed for tax or accounting), and anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you. Retained data is deleted once it is no longer needed for these purposes.

How long it takes

Account deletion requests are honoured promptly. Permanent removal of soft-deleted records completes within 30 days.
